Alan Pardew’s Newcastle United Legacy

Howay the Toon · December 29, 2014 ·

Alan Pardew’s Newcastle United tenure appears to be coming to an end. What, you mean someone is going to give us real money to take Pardew off our hands? We should be paying them! Don’t tell that to Steve Parrish though – he’s giving us around £2 Million, and we get to give him Alan Pardew.

That noise you hear is a bunch of Newcastle fans having a party. While the Pardew leaving party goes on around us, let’s take a look at some of Alan’s most famous moments during his managerial reign at Newcastle United.

His Premier League Record

Some of Pardew’s Best Moments at NUFC Involve..

  • Being the first manager ever to lose four consecutive Tyne Wear derbies
  • Only six clubs in English football have scored less goals per game than Newcastle United in 2014
  • Yoan Gouffran
  • Mike Williamson
  • Those set pieces
  • Blames the local press for poor run in 2014
  • Selling a player on the last day of the January transfer window and then complaining about having no time to sign a replacement
