It has been confirmed that Danny Guthrie has joined Premier League newcomers Reading on a free transfer, signing a three year deal. Guthrie, who’s first team appearances were limited due to the midfield duo of Cabaye and Tiote, was never likely to see a lot of first-team football at Newcastle.
